This Privacy Policy explains how Bastion Tactics, operated by Lebiru Games, handles information when you use the game, its website, Bastion Account features, cloud saves, support services, and purchase flow.
Information we collect
When you create a Bastion Account, we receive your email address, account identifier, authentication status, optional marketing preference, and profile information you provide. Authentication is provided through Supabase. We do not receive or store your password.
When you buy a license, Stripe processes the payment. We receive purchase and entitlement information needed to confirm that your account owns Bastion Tactics, such as payment status, product, purchase time, and a payment or checkout reference. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
The game stores campaign progress, settings, unlocks, and save metadata locally on your device. If you use cloud save, this game data and the metadata needed to synchronize it are stored with your Bastion Account through Supabase.
We may collect limited technical and gameplay analytics, including page or screen views, approximate device category, game version, missions played, progression events, feature use, and purchase-flow status. Analytics must not include passwords, authentication tokens, full payment details, save-file contents, or raw provider errors. Hosting, security, and service providers may also process ordinary network information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and diagnostic logs.
How information is used
We use information to provide and secure accounts, verify licenses, process purchases, synchronize saves, operate and improve the game, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and send updates only when you choose to receive them.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers that help operate Bastion Tactics, including Supabase for accounts and cloud data, Stripe for payments, hosting providers, and analytics providers. We do not sell personal information. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy obligations. Information is retained only as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
Your choices and rights
You may play with local saves where the game permits, decline marketing messages, disable optional analytics through applicable browser privacy controls, and request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting support. Deleting account data may remove cloud saves and the ability to restore a license through that account. Rights vary by location, and applicable legal rights remain available to you.
Children, security, and changes
Bastion Tactics is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. We may update this policy as the game and its services change; the effective date identifies the version presented for this purchase.
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to Bastion Tactics and its related website and services. By purchasing or using the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service.
License
After successful payment and entitlement confirmation, Lebiru Games grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Bastion Tactics for private entertainment on supported devices. The game and all artwork, code, audio, writing, trademarks, and other content remain owned by their respective rights holders. No ownership is transferred to you.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for the security of your Bastion Account and for activity under it. Provide accurate information and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You may not misuse the service, bypass access or payment controls, distribute unauthorized copies, sell or transfer accounts or licenses, reverse engineer the game except where law expressly permits, interfere with other users or infrastructure, introduce malicious code, scrape protected services, or use the game unlawfully.
Beta software and availability
Bastion Tactics is offered as beta software. Features, balance, content, compatibility, and online services may change. The game may contain defects or experience interruptions. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or development. We will not intentionally remove a paid license without a valid reason such as refund, fraud, chargeback, abuse, or legal requirement.
User data and service changes
You are responsible for maintaining any backups available to you. Although cloud-save safeguards are used, uninterrupted storage or recovery is not guaranteed. Updates may be required to continue using online features. We may modify these terms prospectively; material changes will be presented through the website or game where practical.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the game and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lebiru Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data. Any aggregate liability relating to the paid license will not exceed the amount you paid for it. These limits do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and general terms
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict access for a material violation of these terms, fraud, security risk, or legal requirement. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain effective. These terms do not limit mandatory rights under the laws that apply to you.
Refund Policy
Bastion Tactics is a low-cost digital game license delivered after payment. If the license is not delivered, is duplicated, or cannot be activated after reasonable troubleshooting, contact support for assistance or a refund.
You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Include the email address used for the Bastion Account and enough purchase information to locate the transaction, but never send a full card number, password, or authentication token. Refund eligibility may consider whether the digital license has been activated or substantially used, except where applicable law requires a refund or cancellation right.
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Processing time depends on Stripe, your bank, and your payment method. A refunded, reversed, or charged-back purchase may deactivate the associated game entitlement. This policy does not restrict any statutory refund, cancellation, warranty, or consumer-protection rights available in your jurisdiction.
